FINE PRINT
- Extra heavy item surcharge: Items over 200 lbs. that require carrying up or down a flight of stairs such as piano, massage chair, appliances, marble table, exercise machines and etc. may incur extra heavy item surcharge depending on the weight and complexity. Please discuss with our booking agent for quotation
- Extra labor surcharge: Our junk fee is calculated based on a standard loading time of 30 minutes for every 10 yards (~5 minutes for loading an item), which is more than enough time for most apartments and houses. However in situations where, the apartment has no elevators, apartment with long walkway to get to the truck, customer disposing specialty items like murphy bed or storage beds that require extra time to disassemble, or garbage around the house / inside the fridge that require additional assistance with bagging; these situations will require extra labor and loading time. Our price includes 30 minutes of free labor (2 person crew) per every 10 yards, "free labor time". If the loading time takes longer than 30 minutes per 10 yards (1 hour for 20 yards, 2 hours for 40 yards and etc.), extra labor surcharge of $60/(2 person crew) for every 30 minutes exceeding the "free labor time" will apply.
